bridal party drawing.

as part of the thank you gift to my bridesmaids, i created a hand-illustrated drawing of the bridal party and had one framed for each of them.

i gave my bridesmaids their gifts on the night of the rehearsal dinner, and they loved it! it adds a playful, personal touch to a gift for those girls who were there supporting you through all of the planning!

on the wedding day, our photographer, rebecca barger, lined us up in the same order as the drawing ... the results were pretty close!

hand-illustrated welcome map.

we included these illustrated welcome maps in the hotel gift bags, along with brochures related to various philadelphia landmarks.

since many guests were from out of town, we wanted to be sure they would see the best of philly during their stay!

ceremony programs.

since brian + i had chosen our first song to be "our love is here to stay," i wanted to play upon the idea of forever, as there is a lyric from the song "...ever and a day."this is intentionally referenced directly across from our wedding date.

i designed our monogram to have the "O" of our last name resemble a wedding band. this wedding band motif is found later in the program next to "exchange of vows."

we printed the programs on an ivory color textured paper, and finished them off with a yellow ribbon to bind the program together.

brian + i were married on june 12th. here are some of the graphics that i generated for our big day!

save the date.

for our save the dates, i found a photo of me and brian dancing, and altered it in photoshop to have an illustrated look. i even changed the look of my hair, and added shoes to my bare feet!

we included an accomodations invite with the SD's, on which i played with the idea of philadelphia's liberty bell as wedding bells.

finally, we placed the two pieces in a matching yellow envelope... the design came together nicely, especially with a liberty bell stamp on it!

heidi + erich were married 8.7.10 in the suburbs of philadelphia, near the bride's hometown.

currently residing in upstate NY, it was important to the newlyweds that their current home be referenced in their save-the-date.

final design

we ended up using one of james & pantea's engagement photos for the invitation design. the image itself was beautiful, shot in front of the disney concert hall in LA! therefore, the invitation design focused on using elegant fonts and a layout that complimented the photo.

the shower and rehearsal dinner invitations were designed to have a cohesive theme with the invitations.

this is where lovelee graphics all began!

kelli & jim were married in november 2008 @ the loews hotel in philadelphia. they asked me to create a hand-drawn "map" for their save-the-dates, and i enjoyed myself so much that i have been creating these personalized maps ever since.

these maps aren't limited to wedding events; the map below was created as a birthday gift. add a matte and a frame, and it's a personalized piece of artwork!
